The best song of all times - OzPCTrader

What is the best song of all times? Have you ever asked yourself this question? I have many times but I can only answer it for myself. That's why I have decided to setup this little poll.

To start it off I tell you what my favorite song of all times is. It's All along the watchtower by Jimi Hendrix. This song was originally written by Bob Dylan in 1967 and it is estimated that he has played it on stage over 1700 times. Jimi Hendrix covered it in 1968 and Bob Dylan liked his version so much that he covered Jimi's cover. This song is listed as number 48 in the Rolling Stone Magazine's best 500 songs

I like this song more because of the sound than because of the lyrics, probably because I grew up in a non English speaking country and never payed much attention to lyrics in other languages. Somehow Jimi's guitar play manages to re-produce a certain up and down, roller coaster like feeling that I sometimes got when I got stoned as a teenager. The bit of the lyrics that did get stuck in my mind are There is too much confusion and There must be some way out of here. I think that's probably because of the way I was feeling at the time and not because I understood what the song was about.
